We're the First Ever AgTech Startup at Finovate!
Last night, Emma put Australian AgTech innovation on the global stage as she launched our AgriDigital platform in New York at FinovateFall.
Now in its tenth year, Finovate is the leading global fintech conference and has been the stage for over 2,000 demos by startups from around the world. A few other Australian fintech startups have been on stage at Finovate, but we believe we are the first ever AgTech startup to present on the Finovate stage.
Emma's demo marks the launch of our AgriDigital platform.
AgriDigital helps growers get paid in real-time and de-risks financing for buyers and banks. By enabling real-time payment on title transfer through the use of smart contracts and agri-blockchains, AgriDigital solves the acknowledged industry problem of counterparty risk, bringing trust and transparency to all participants along the agri-commodity supply chain.
AgriDigital will go live in Australia during the 2016-17 grains harvest. Our pilot will be the first ever live, in-market use of blockchain in physical agricultural commodities.
An Exciting Time for Aussie AgTech
Full Profile’s opportunity to shine comes at an exciting time for Australian AgTech. Earlier this week, StartupAus released a report calling for Australian agriculture to become a $100 billion industry by 2030.
FinovateFall: An Amazing Opportunity
This year's FinovateFall drew nearly 2,000 attendees, including banks, startups, media, and established companies. It was the perfect venue to launch AgriDigital and highlight the huge opportunities for agtech in both Australia and around the world.
We’re proud of what we showcased and of our uniqueness, not only as Australians, but also as an agtech startup bringing blockchain solutions to physical commodity supply chains.
Thank you to all our fans and supporters from Australia and around the world!
